The program combines skill development, confidence building, and fun on the bike, with an emphasis on positive role models and community. Financial assistance and gear support are available to help ensure the program is accessible to all participants.
Amanda lives in Shinnston, West Virginia, with her husband Clint, their son Teigen, daughter Chesleigh, and their fur kids, Waffles and Syrup. She works night shift as a nurse for WVU Medicine and spends her free time volunteering at local hospitals with her golden retriever, Waffles, a certified therapy dog. Amanda found her way into biking when her son joined NICA, a national youth mountain biking team, and quickly fell in love with the bike world. She’ll be the first to admit she’s no professional, but she hopes to one day shred it better than her son and proudly considers herself the coolest cat since hopping on a bike. Amanda now serves as a coach with NICA and loves watching young riders grow in confidence and resilience. She’s excited to start a local chapter of Little Bellas in her community, creating a fun and welcoming space where girls can build confidence, strength, and friendships on two wheels. This mission is especially close to her heart, as her daughter Chesleigh will one day be riding too. When she’s not riding or coaching, Amanda loves camping, sled riding, and spending time outdoors with her family. To the kids who know her, she’s simply Miss Amanda.
